Since opening in 2012 The Fish People Cafe has aimed to offer customers exquisite dishes at affordable prices.

Located in the south side of Glasgow, the restaurant was a new venture for Andy Bell and family, owners of the adjacent fishmongers ‘The Fish People’. Serving the finest quality of fish and shellfish Scotland has to offer; we offer a modern twist on classic seafood dishes, set within a french bistro style interior with a stylish marble bar.

Our talents and experience are diverse, but at The Fish People Cafe we’re united by one thing: an overarching passion for seafood, wine and hospitality.

We believe that no dish can be better than its ingredients, and that the best ingredients are usually local.  Every day we make many decisions about what we eat and every one of our food choices has an ethical and environmental impact.  It is the best of coincidences that good food choices – those that are good for our land and people, for the environment, for the body and mind – are also delicious and enjoyable.
